The first of season Bobolincks were present today near Arkadelphia, AR. They were in a loose group of Red-winged Blackbirds and a number of Dickcissels. The birds were feeding in an open field of un mowed grass and weeds. It is difficult to say how many were actually present because they were feeding in deep grass and only a few would fly up and light on small trees and shrubs. Also, one Upland Sandpiper was present in the same field also a FOS bird.
