I spotted a Monarch laying eggs on the butterfly weed in my yard. I am certain it was a Monarch and was surprised at how early she came to our area. She looked fresh so is probably not from Mexico. She laid eggs. The picture is a bad picture, but you can see her wing in the right. My preschooler was loud and startled her.
