The pic captured the butterfly as it was aiming at me, and then buzzed my head. I wasn't even examining milkweeds at the time. I think this is a different monarch because it flew east to west then east then west, zig-zagging from one edge to the other in an apparent happy dance typical of first arrivals discovering the yard for the first time.
