My Barn Swallows returned to their nest on the front porch about 8:15pm this Sunday, 3 May 2020. I'm curious, there were 3 birds. Not sure who the odd one is. Very noisy and 'chatty' as they usually are when they return. This nest has been used every year since spring 2011, when I moved here! One year it was not successful as something happened to the female after that pair returned. I think one of their young has taken over the nest.
