Number: 1

It was cooler today this morning in the low 50s and partly cloudy around 10 a.m. I saw a little flicker of yellow in our pear tree and thought it must be an American Goldfinch at first. But the flickers were actually moving more quickly than a goldfinch's and I realized I had a warbler in the tree! I waited patiently for it to come out of the depths of the tree and perch among the pear blossoms at which point I found I had a beautiful female Yellow Warbler visitor!
