Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)
Sightings report image

Date: 05/06/2020

Number: 2

Boys started appearing today at 11:40 AM, and the early afternoon. Sunshine, 48 degrees winds 5-15 mph; they may have literally "blown in." The first male was sleek, shiny, glowing and handsome. He fluttered by the sunroom window to say hello, proceeded to the feeder near by, did a "A Dine and Dash" and flew north. The second male wasn't as dashing in his appearance. He looked rumpled, tired, weary and lingered longer at the feeder. Both may have traveled north as I've not seen them this evening. Picture of "Rumpled"
