Saw our first Monarch about a month ago. Milkweed garden is full of larva at the end of April. As of today 5/7/2020, we have over 30 chrysalis that we can find and probably more hidden from site. Since we planted milkweed, this year is the earliest we have dealt with them. Unfortunately our milkweed was only about knee high so it all has been eaten to the ground.
