We were standing in the kitchen looking out at the snow coming down rather thick and fast at 6:25 pm. A ruby throated hummingbird emerged from one of our crabapple trees to sip at the feeder standing about 5 feet away from the tree. The hummingbird returned to the feeder 4 times. By 6:35pm the snow had stopped and the sun was out.
