Sightings report image

Date: 05/09/2020

Number: 1

It was another unbelievably cold 40 degree day, with high gusty winds up to 30 mph and yet this little Yellow Warbler still came by and fought hard to balance itself on our pear tree branches. I attempted many times to get a good picture, but it just moved around too much. Luckily, it came by one last time again around 7 p.m. and I got this shot of it. The warblers had to have been stalled and trapped here for 5 days and unable to move on because of poor weather conditions I'm sure. I'm glad I have this one record to show for World Migratory Bird Day 2020.
