Our first female ruby throat was spotted by my daughter while we were having breakfast. Happy Mother’s Day! She came to our window feeder several times, looking thin and nervous, so probably newly arrived. We had an unusual weather event on Saturday - an extended graupel storm which we thought was hail, having never heard of or seen graupel before. Looked like a cross between sleet, hail, snow, and as my son said, styrofoam shipping material!
