I really can't believe that we still have a Yellow Warbler in our pear tree, which is showing some signs of frost damage, going on 7 days now! But the weather here has been incredibly cold, wet and unseasonable. This bird has the innate common sense to know it should just lay low here until the weather changes, but I sure have enjoyed its (or perhaps maybe one or two others') company for the last few days!
