A friend who lives in an open meadow just outside of Eau Claire spotted a hummingbird on May 10. Long drink; then, gone.

I live in town, so I knew the hummingbirds would be here soon. I put new food in the feeder and started watching. She landed just before 2pm today, relaxing and drinking. Then, she flew to a neighboring bush and proceeded to primp. What a happy day!
