First monarch in spring appeared on Earth Day flying over the house. Then this female appeared in the early after on April 25. She stayed all afternoon flying circles around the yard and landing on Desert (Rush) Milkweed, A. subulata. Interestingly, she didn't lay any eggs. She was gone the following morning and didn't return.
