Robin (Nesting Behavior)

Date: 05/09/2020

Number: 1

Another apparent pair of Robins have built a second nest this time on the south end of a tool shed.

They worked for several days and built that nest, Since, they have laid and hatched the eggs and, recent activity suggests that the young are being fed by adult birds.

The first nest is apparently abandoned, uncertain why but one assumes that some animal or other bird has possibly raided it.

It is annoying to watch common Grackles harassing the nesting birds and their young.
