Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 05/15/2020

Number: 4

The habit of hiding by eating the underside of milkweed leaves not only protected the Monarchs from scavenging birds, but possibly protected this one of four caterpillars from yesterday's torrential rains and blasting winds. What a feat! Now they're feasting.
