As of 05/15/2020 we have at least 30-40 ruby throated and black chinned hummingbirds eating at 6 feeders.

We have been scrutinizing the hummingbirds and comparing them to the photos and descriptions in the birding app. The hummers here are not as large (4-41/2 inches) as the description of the broad tailed hummingbirds. They seem to match the descriptions of the Ruby throated birds.

At any rate we have more birds every year. If the feeders get low they come to the windows to let us know its time for a refill! The first couple of years they would follow us on a ¾ mile walk. Now they know we are not going anywhere!
