Since before Mother's Day, I have been looking for my first Ruby Throat! In checking the map of first sightings on JN, I noticed that folks in Western New York have been seeing them. So, I have been looking closely each day for the first arrival in our woods.

The temperatures have been very cold for a couple of weeks, so, perhaps, this is one reason for their delay in our area.
