Our first sighting was late this year by about one week. Contrary to our first oriole sighting which was early despite us getting the feeder up a few days later than usual. We had the pink hummingbird feeder out and there was a cold snap. not sure if it was the pink feeder or the cold snap but once we put the red feeder out we had our first hummer within a few days of having it out.
