Saw first Monarch of season today. Not many milkweed plants appearing yet on our 16 acre property due to cold spring. Visible plants only few inches tall. Looked closely at the plants after seeing the Monarch and several already had eggs laid on them. Counted about 20 eggs but probably more that went unnoticed.
