Lots of egg laying, and 2 matings witnessed.

I believe these 6 were not repeats of the same ones. We have had several monarchs that do hang around for the day, but most stop briefly and move on.

I can count about 20 eggs, and I believe the number is larger than that.

The 6 did not include the newly released, the 1st released did not fly away until 36 hours later.

We had our first Monarchs in February, then they returned again mid March. I purchased additional milkweed plants 4/2/2020, and they came with several eggs! (Those did not survive past pre-pupal) .
