We have a robin who built her nest right outside of our back door. She began building in late April and my husband continued to take down her daily progress for over a week but she was persistent so he finally just let her go. We continued to use the door to access the back yard and let our two dogs out, hoping it would deter her, but it did not. I checked yesterday and there is one beautiful blue egg in there! I expect there will be another today because momma is on the nest as I�m typing. I�m Just worried as to whether momma will get used to the traffic or will she begin attacking us as the eggs develop and hatch, or will she abandon the nest? It�s just so crazy to me especially because there are many bushes and trees in the area she could have used instead of our light fixture. There�s even a house right next door that�s currently empty (for sale)...
