Several apparent resident hummers have been coming to the feeders throughout the day. The high temperature for the day was in the mid 60's, with cloudy conditions, damp and scattered light drizzle. Winds were mostly out of the east at 5mph during observation time of 8:54pm. Tempratures at observation was 61 degrees, with slight misting. Five hummers seen at four feeder locations 2 males and 3 females. All were drinking a long time for last call before retiring for the night. Last departing hummer was our dominate male whom departed at 9:05pm. Currently around our residence hummers have been observed hitting on hanging baskets of petunias and blooming crab trees.
