Three to four females gathering earthworms and caterpillars for their nestlings. The females have been gathering food for several weeks and have seen a few of the egg shells scattered around the pine trees.
The ground is still moist due to the coolest spring in years and the average amount of rain the last few months so the earthworms have remained near the surface.
