It wouldn't land for me to get a picture, but I am 100% certain it was a monarch. It was at 3:18 PM, and it was 75°F. The butterfly was flying north along a bike trail. There are woods on either side of the trail, and grassy areas with wildflowers lining the trail. The milkweed in the area is around 8 inches tall right now.
