Through the window,caught a glimpse of orange flying by, and thought "that was a large fritillary .... whoa, wait...". Looked outside from a different window and saw the monarch flying around my hummingbird feeder. Dashed outside to get a good look at it; nectaring on a dandelion. No time for a photo. It flew north, into an area of trees. Very exciting, and VERY unusual to see a monarch in this area so early. It is rare to see one before July. Weather is sunny, 68 F, and a steady breeze at 9:20 AM. Monarch Way Station 9418
