Flew in from the south west and settled in our lilac blooms for a few moments before taking off.

Note: Milkweed is almost 2 feet high! Beamsville/Lincoln is in the Niagara peninsula, surrounded by water on both sides (Lakes Erie and Ontario), which moderates the winters and provides a longer growing season.
