I saw my first adult monarch in my yard today. I couldn't tell if it was a female or a male. But the color was faded.

I didn't have a camera handy.

My milkweed is about a month late coming up. And the sighting of an adult in my yard is 2-4 weeks earlier than normal. So I was surprised.
