We were outside on the backyard patio about 4 pm and noticed a Monarch fly by us, through the yard and continue on its way. It was headed northwest, slight wind, partly cloudy & temp in the upper 80’s at the time. There is wild milkweed growing on our property near the lake & we also have a butterfly garden. We did not observe it at any plants & there were many to choose from!
