I've been on the lookout for the first hummingbird sighting since early May. Typically, they have been here by mid May, but the last few years I've noticed earlier sightings toward the beginning of May. last year was the earliest sighting on May 9th. This year on May 9th, however, it snowed! A short week later, on the 16th, we saw our first hummingbirds.
