Reported by Don Davis on behalf of David Bree, Sr. Discovery Leader at Presqu'ile Provincial Park near Brighton, Ontario:
David reports spotting the first monarch in the park at noon today near the Stonehedge Cottage. He noted that the monarch appeared fresh but smaller than many monarchs that he sees in the park.
Presqu'ile is a small but very biodiverse Natural History park that extends out as a peninsula into Lake Ontario. A very significant park in the spring and fall for migrating birds and insects.
