Flitting about garden. I did not see it alight on any milkweed (1 ft tall, common, no blooms), checked for eggs afterwards on a few of the plants, nada. So it must have been looking for nectar. In the past, if we did get an early wave of eggs (about 1 in 4 years), it was in April.
