Saw my FOY monarch about 2 pm, shortly after the rain stopped and the sun came out. Fluttered through my yard, couldn't see if it was a male or female. A couple of hours later I saw a second monarch that spent time investigating my native garden and its three kinds of milkweed. She (?) briefly touched on the common milkweed but moved on. Welcome back!
