Saw my first male today. He drank without resting and was gone. It’s been such a cold and snowy spring I was not surprised that they were late arriving this year. In 2019 the first visit was May 6th. The daffodils are just blooming now and the black flies are just starting so there are now insects and some flowers for food for them. So good to see them...finally.
