I could not get a photo of the two butterflies since they were flying along the flowers of Maxton Plains Alvar on Drummond Island, MI. My first (just getting started) milkweed sighting of the summer season was right nearby. Uploaded is a picture of a tiny milkweed just getting started along the limestone pavement.
