"I AM JOURNEY NORTH" right here in my backyard under our pear tree in which I've captured numerous images of warblers, robins and cardinals who've come to visit. Since 2014 I've been pleased to be a Citizen Scientist for Journey North and do my part to report my observations of Monarch Butterflies and migratory birds. Journey North has given me much inspiration to capture these images and become more knowledgeable about the species I've seen. I also look forward to the news reports on Journey North of Dr. Aborn and following along with the weather maps and the records of sightings of the migrants. It's enjoyable to read about others' observations across the country, (including Estela's in Mexico), and see the images of their sightings as well. Thank you everyone at Journey North for your time, effort and work involved in compiling the reports of many Citizen Scientists regarding the arrival and departure of the beautiful Monarch Butterflies as well as the many migratory bird species of Mexico and South America who migrate every year to the summer breeding grounds of the United States and Canada.
