In Agua Fria National Park along riparian area of Badger Springs, 7:50am 05/27/2020.
There were others flittling around, might have been monarchs but they were moving too fast for me to be sure.
Editor's note: consensus from local experts is that this is a Queen butterfly. Note the positions of the white dots at the ends of the cell next to the discal cell - follows the pattern of the Queen's hindwing markings.
