I saw a hummingbird in my backyard, sitting in my lemon tree. I didn't realize it was a hummingbird until it started to fly. I could tell it was a hummingbird because of how fast it beat its wings in a figure eight wing pattern. The hummingbird was mostly brown with a little bit of red. I think it was especially small for a hummingbird. It was also nectaring from flowers.
