Our dog came back to the patio with a colorful lump. Somehow he brought back this monarch to us that must have just hatched somewhere in the garden. We unfolded the wings and let it hang on a branch. Its wings straightened out. Now, about an hour and half later, it started flapping its wings. It is 5:30 PM now.
