Saw first of season in Sandwich, NH flying about yesterday and then again today. It was flittering here and there across our meadows filled with immature milkweeds. It stopped mostly to draw nectar from clover flowers. It took a while to make sure via a photo that it was indeed a monarch. And it was! Tried to get a better photo but it didn�t stay still very long. Will try again tomorrow.
