At noon, I took my 2 mile hike and saw no monarchs. However, my friend, Larry, observed 4 monarchs while bicycling from 1 mile north of town to 1 mile south of town where I talked with him. He saw 2 monarchs north along US-23, one monarch at the public library, and one near the state park. All were seen between 11 AM and 1 PM. Weather was 100% sunshine with the Wind SE-7, and the Temperature topped out at 73F.
