Saw my first monarch of the season in my yard. I searched through my milkweed and could only find one egg. It hatched June 18th and the caterpillar is growing every day. Numbers to me seem very low and sighting is later this year than 2019. This is my fourth year watching for the monarchs and providing food for them. My mom also has milkweed planted and we have only seen one in her yard so far and no eggs.
