I went walking about the pasture in the late afternoon taking a quick look at the milkweed and checking for monarch eggs & larvae. It was overcast, breezy, 80 degree F, with humidity of 76%. Rain was imminent.
I saw all sizes of larvae, including quite a few newborns. I also saw some eggs on the milkweed. This is one of the larvae seen today.
