Have found 1 and 2 eggs (3 total) before this Month (last month there were dozens by now with less plants), but this was my first 2020 sighting of an adult. Flew quickly through garden midday. Large faded female, laid 1 egg in patch of ~30 common milkweed in bloom. No eggs on 4 smaller patches of swamp milkweed, or on tiny redring, whorled, showy, tropical, or butterfly weed plants, none of which are blooming yet.
