11:15 am. Saw two monarch butterflies across the street in my neighbour’s rain garden. They looked like they were laying eggs. Shortly afterward one came into our rain garden and was laying eggs. I found 4 eggs but she probably laid more in areas I can’t search. In both gardens they were laying eggs on common milkweed.
