The monarch was on one of the milkweeds of the patch at the left/west side of my house. I only saw it for a few seconds before a car passed by and it was gone, but it looked slightly smaller and it’s forewing veins looked thick, so it may have been a female! As soon as traffic dies down I will check for eggs on that patch.
