We didn't see many monarchs, eggs or cats in early June, but the last week or so we've had daily egg laying in our little patch of milkweed. Yesterday there were 3 females laying. There must be lots of eggs out there. We've also seen several 4th and 5th instar cats. Milkweed is just starting to bloom.
