I have about 100 milkweed plants in my backyard along with Buddliea, Joe Pye Weed, Cat Mint, Tick Seed, blanket flower... in fact I just converted an old veggie garden into a butterfly house. So I am ready for this year’s migration! Last year I raised just over 100 from egg to wing. Keeping them outside in net houses to Protect from predators, but still insure migratory behavior. This was my first sighting of an adult this year.
