Large emergence of monarchs! Today at 2:20 PM, I saw a faded monarch on white clover flowers in my back yard. Then at 4:40 PM, I saw a very brightly colored monarch fly between my house and garage. Finally, my friend, Larry, called at 5:30 PM and said he counted 29 monarchs in a large field of milkweed across from 345 N. HWY US-23. He saw that some had just emerged from their chrysalids. Weather today was mostly sunny with the Wind SE-8-13 mph, and the Temperature topped out at 90F.
