Am Elated to see - Finally "At Last" the first Monarch of the season in our yard, West Hartford, CT. A beautiful female. She was loving the echinacea and stayed in the gardens for about 45 mins or more. Oddly she wasn't paying much attention to the masses or Tuberosa which surprised me a little. She did stop for a bit, but was more intent on nectaring on the cone flowers.
