Sightings report image

Date: 07/09/2020

Number: 1

Female monarch; ovipositing seems to be her only goal as she flies from one milkweed leaf to another; no breaks for nectar. She might be the same butterfly that I reported four days ago, but she is greatly faded today. Two species of milkweed: A. speciosa and syriaca. Sunny, partly cloudy, 95 F, humidity 12 %, and wind 10 mph. Observed at 2:30 PM. Way Station 9418
